What are the boundaries for the league?
Lincoln Little League Softball is for new and returning players of all abilities between the ages of 5-14, who live or go to school in the Lincoln High School (Portland, Oregon) school district.
When is the season?
The season runs from the beginning of April through mid-June. AAA and Majors players may form All-Star teams that play into mid-July.
How do I register my child?
Visit our registration page on or after December 15. Join our email list to be notified when registration is open.
What is the cost to play softball?
$275 for A/AA and $300 for AAA/Majors.
$325 for A/AA and $350 for AAA/Majors after 3/10/23.
The fee includes socks and a visor, as well as a uniform jersey to be returned at season's end. Financial assistance is available for players for whom this is cost prohibitive; details available here, or contact us at info@lincolnlittleleague.org.
Where are games and practices?
Usually teams play at Hamilton Park and East Sylvan for practices and home games, with away games in neighboring Little League District 4 areas (Lake Oswego, Wilsonville, Beaverton, West Portland, etc). Field assignments will be finalized immediately prior to the season’s start.
Are there tryouts?
It depends on the number of registrants, the number of volunteer coaches, and thus the number of teams we can field. Our goal is that every girl who wants to play softball with Lincoln Little League finds a team. Tryouts may be held to help ensure girls are playing at a level where they are appropriately challenged but can build confidence and a love for the game.
How can I help out?
Lincoln Little League is entirely run by volunteers, so sign up today to coach, umpire, team parent, or help with field maintenance. We are always looking for new board members!
Can businesses sponsor the league and/or teams?
Yes! Visit our sponsorships page for more information on how your business can support the league, while generating valuable visibility.
How do I determine jersey size?
Jerseys are “slim-fit” and generally run a bit small. When in doubt order a size larger. XS Women’s is slightly smaller than a Youth L. S Women's is slightly smaller than Youth XL. If your player is 5 feet or above they should order women’s sizing due to longer length.
